Eight left on the Voice Season 11. Two sent home. Christmas finale in the making.
So there are eight left. I stand by my assertion that We McDonald, she with the horrible name, is going to win this thing.
Remaining candidates below.
Before going into details, let us look at the video below of Jennifer Nettles and Dolly Parton singing the Christmas song “Circle of Love”.
It’s not something I normally do for competitive reality shows to post the side shows but this song is so pretty that I could not resist.
Now let us discuss the songs sung the night before two contenders were sent home.
Billy Gilman sang the very pretty “Do It Anyway”, video below.
Brenden Fletcher sang Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors”. It was okay. Fletcher moved on to the top eight with it.
Josh Galligher sang “I’m a real good man”. Never heard of the song and hated it anyway. Josh did make through to the top eight.
Christian Cuevas sang “A Million Reasons” and also made the top eight.
We McDonald, she with the worst name and prettiest voice, sang a Christmas song “God Bless the Child”.
Sundance Head, he whose name I also hate but whose vocal style has grown on me over the months, sang “Me and Jesus”, video below.
Courtney Harrell sang that famous Cher song “If I could turn back time,” and she sang it perfectly awful. Courtney was sent home.
Austin Alsop sang “Missing You” and he too was sent home.
Ali Caldwell sang “Without You” and did very well, moving on with the top eight.
Aaron Gibson sang Elton John’s “Rocket Man” and while he was in the bottom three, Aaron was saved this night as America voted.
We McDonald and Sundance Head….the worst names but the best voices.
